I Know it's Dark out there

Beloved Souls,

You may be feeling that the world Is a little heavy right now – probably very heavy to be honest.

You may feel that you must keep on top of these events by watching/listening to the news constantly so that you know events AS THEY HAPPEN.

You may have people in your life who have, what I call, the ‘Town Crier’ Archetype – always needing to be the first to share news and call it out loudly and repeatedly.

There is a lot of darkness in current events and in the transmission of these events. It is easy to feel it… and drown in it. It is easy to be scared.

But I want to remind you that light dispels the darkness.

The more candles that are lit, the less darkness exists.

The more of us that remain in the light – bringing positive energy to the world – the less the darkness can take hold.

When you feel stressed by the fact you can do nothing to change what is going on out there, then return to yourself and bring light in. Meditate, walk in nature, spend time in joyful activities and with people you love. Connect to your Heart. Breathe deeply and ask for guidance from Spirit.

Detach from those sources that elevate your anxiety. If you feel you need to stay on top of the news, then choose methods that are less emotive. The written word is preferable to video.

Maintain your boundaries, especially when consuming any news delivered with high emotion. Panic can be caught!

Do things that reinforce your sense of sovereignty during these times – build a vegie garden, stock up on basic resources (but don’t go toilet paper crazy!!), buy a bicycle, or move to a tropical island (you need to read my previous blog post to understand that!! 😊).

Every positive action brings positive energy into this world.
